Janna Weng (M. A.) is an assistant lecturer for the proofreading/editing programme for international musicology students.

The editing service is linked to the exercise "Reading, Speaking, Writing (additional offer for international students in the subject area of musicology)". International students must attend this exercise in order to take advantage of the editing service.

Janna Weng studied Modern German Literature, American Literature and Cultural Anthropology at Paderborn University until 2014. She specialised in personality development under the influence of (everyday) racism and postcolonial criticism.

Since then she has worked as an editor, proofreader and translator from English into German.
