Johannes Kepper, born 1980, studied Musicology with the subsidiary subjects Media Research and Theory and Informatics at the Musicology Seminar Detmold/Paderborn. In 2005 he received his master´s degree with a master thesis about the theme "The hymn of Carl Maria von Weber: 'In seiner Ordnung schafft der Herr'. Aspects of this composition and his edition". Since 2005 he works on his doctoral thesis about aspects of digital music editions. Parallel to Musicology he studied Media Informatics at the University of Paderborn. Since 2003 Johannes Kepper works for the project Edirom, first as a student assistant, since 2006 in the new DFG-Project "Digital Music Edition" as a research assistant.
